Web-Interface lost its control buttons

I am using cacti version 1.2.16 and am using it on a ubuntu PC with Firefox.

I noticed that the Web-interface is missing all control buttons in the Templates Graph and Data Template windows (i.e. delete, move up, move down).

This is working on another device cacti version 1.2.15 installed.

Any help to correct this?

Please show screenshot. did you try to change the theme?
I have 1.2.16 and 1.2.17, I'm using Ubuntu/firefox too and I don't have any problem.

This is a screenshot and no - changing the theme did not change anything to the better.

Open the developer tools and see the Network tab (I assume there is a Network tab on Firefox, I only use Chrome). See if anything is being blocked. I have seen various extensions and some web proxies block the icons before.

I could not see anything blocked. Also other websites that have icons and buttons are working well. I have also tried google chrome with no more success.

This is very strange.

Is there a way to edit a graph template using the command line interface?

Yes - the columns can be resized - but still, the control buttons do not appear.

I have also checked other Templates php‘s such as Device or Data Source. They are all missing the control buttons.

Try to update to 1.2.19. Your 1.2.16 is old. Maybe it was fixed.

Upgrading to the latest version did correct the problem.
