nmidSmokeping version 3

Hi All,

I have a General Question concerning the smokePing Plugin.

I am using cacti 1.2.15 version und I would lick to migrate the nmidSmokeping plugin. One thing I do not understand yet is, that this plugin is only for old cacti >1.0 version? right? Because I was reading about soon coming CereusSmokping release, however I don't find any plugin named CereusSmokeping. I am a bit confused and I beg someone, please to tell me, what SmokePing Plugin is usefull for my cacti version?

Hi Achea9

nmidSmokeping has not been developed any further. Please use the "AdvancedPing" Template as an alternative.

nmidSmokeping is not compatible with Cacti 1.x

CereusSmokeping development was cancelled for now.

Thank you very much for the quick Response. Yes, that is good, because I was really not sure if I wanted to use nmid v3. I will check the AdvancedPing.
