Hello, I recently did an install on raspberry pi using the apt-get method but it installed version 1.2.2. When I try to specifically upgrade cacti using the command apt-get upgrade cacti, I get the output...
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
cacti is already the newest version (1.2.2+ds1-2+deb10u3).
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Is there an easy way to fix this to use apt-get to upgrade to 1.2.15 or is it easier to remove the package and install using the generic linux install instructions on the cacti website?

I dont' know raspberry OS/package tools. Maybe newer cacti version isn't prepared there. You can download newer cacti from github and rewrite your files (you have to set file permissions too). After rewrite go to cacti web and follow installation/upgrade instructionsgaran wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 9:42 am Hello, I recently did an install on raspberry pi using the apt-get method but it installed version 1.2.2. What OS on the Raspberry Pi, Raspian? (I only run Centos on mine). We don't maintain the packages on any distro, so you may have too look at your package info, and contact the maintainer if you want to see a newer version in the OS you are using.
