Link Monitor Cacti 1.2.15

Hello all, I am new at cacti. I have just install a cacti 1.2.15 on centos 7. I want to monitor Link status (UP/DOWN). If the interface is down it should email me that the link is down. How can i add those. I have searched all over place. Noting worked.

You have to install the plugin thold
than Your are able to create a thold threshold, and give is some action on it.

First install THold, then look on the forum under plugin thold, that's the place to look for answer
