WARNING: SNMP timeout detected [15000 ms], ignoring host

Post by rrestituyo »

I have this SNMP timeout issue since I changed from cdm.php to Spine. I have put the snmp timeout to 15,000 and chnaged the oid per request to 1and it still happening. Also some of the graphs that are populated with bash script have some gaps.

15 second timeout is too long. There are a lot of potential sources for this. If it's not connectivity, often times it's from too many OIDS in a single get request "max_oids".

I have changed the the max oids to 1 many times and the issue still there. Is something else I can check?
