Restarting the Wizard

Post by rumshot »

Hi Folks,

Good morning

I've installed the Cacti 1.2.14 but i would like to restart the wizard, the issues is the system tells me that already was installed...
I tried couple things like re-install the cacti packaged and so on, but im still get the same issue.

my goal its to upgrade to version 1.2.14 however, the database and rra files are coming from another server with version 0.8.8h and as i would like to use the wizard to upgrade and not install a new versio as i did previously.

Can someone give me a light ?

Thanks in advance,

When you override the database with the one from 0.8.8h its going to throw you back in to the wizard to upgrade.

I would like to thank you all for the support.

The "problem" was fixed.

To upgrade you just need to create the cacti database and then import the dump from your old database. You dont need to import the template and thats were i was comitting a mistake.

Thanks all !
