Cacti Module --> Sending a Page in case of problem

Post by Mr_Poche »

I was wondering if there is any kind of cacti module that can page a network admin or anybody when , for exemple, an host goes down or a line is too loaded?

Okay, i will start coding my module on monday. I found a good way to implement it, it will also be possible to add technician or ressource people to the DB with their personal infos and assign them to a host. Viva MySQL!

Stay tuned!

I'm one of those who do not read his email all day long so i've made my own module, it works now.

It's quite simple to make and now my system pages me if there's something wrong with a host. Last week, our main router felt down and we've been page instantly to fix the problem.

Tell me if someone wants it.

Here we go
This module has been tested in linux only.

Unfortunatly, the module is too big for the attachments, so i put it there :

http://69.93.121.202/techannoyer-1.0.0.tar.gz

Be sure also that your hostname is a numeric ip. The fact is, the system will page you the ip address of the host without dots.

Make sure to read the readme.
