Data input method for script output file with variable data

I am trying to generate DISK IO statistics using script output as data input method. Since no of disks (/dev/sda, /dev/sdb, /dev/sdc....) are different in name and count for different servers, how would I create a template of the data input method which can be used for adding multiple servers with different no. of disks ? Is there any option of creating output field with variable number?
Example:
Suppose server-A has 1 disk, sda, so I can create output field as (sda:read sda:write) but if server-B has two disks (sda, sdb) then output field would be like (sda:read sda:write sdb:read sdb:write). Therefore I can't use a single template for multiple servers.

Please note that, I will use it for AIX DISK IO statistics for which existing SNMP disk IO template is not working and also Customer does not want to use AIX NMAP template as it is ssh based.
