I try to compile spine 1.2.4 on freebsd 11.1, during run this command: make
I see this error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldl
cc: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
*** Error code 1
so what is -ldl and how can I fix it?
also I try with spine 1.2.8 , it is same error.
spine compile error

Re: spine compile error
I think that basically means your version of gcc doesn't support the -ldl option. The dl library is used for dlopen and generally means it was found, but for some reason your gcc isn't linking to it. Check your library paths are correct.

Re: spine compile error
I think this was fixed in later versions, which you should be able to run with Cacti 1.2.x+.
