Hi,
Maybe a stupid question, i just implemented 1.2.13 cacti-spine from cacti -cmd 1.2.3
Do I need to disable the main poller from data collection as i see spine is running twice one with 5 processes in data collection - and one with 2 processes in configuration poller?
also is there a requirement if you are running a cacti-spine 1.2.13 to have the same version for 1.2.x on cacti?
also can you use boost on cacti-spine?
best regards,
Tom

Re: Cacti-Spine
Just upgrade both cacti/cacti-spine to 1.2.13 so far so good.

Re: Cacti-Spine
after monitoring the cacti....
i have both SNMPv2 and v3, the SNMPV3 devices is not showing on console devices and i can't use the regular expression to search for the devices. using AES128.
and the interfaces are returning invalid.

Re: Cacti-Spine
Here's my process numbers, i could reduce the spine to 2 and it's actually faster.

Re: Cacti-Spine
just realized there are 2 poller runner,
one from the cron.d which is configured with configuration-> poller settings and one from the web-ui from Data Source poller?
also i notice after installing (wget) 1.2.13 from cacti source, it created an /opt/var/cacti - I removed /usr/share/cacti -> cacti-old
installed it on /opt/var/cacti, the rra was in both dir. /opt/var/cacti/rra and /usr/share/cacti/site/rra (which was removed)
now cacti creates a new rra directory in /var/lib/cacti/rra and .....

Re: Cacti-Spine
Replace host.php with the one for the 1.2.x branch. Consider using higher thread counts, but before doing so, check that your MySQL will support more connections.
