Hello,
I defined 2 automation rule:
1: create a graph In/Out 64Bits counters
2: create status graph
both use the same rules:
device is:
h.snmp_sysDescr contains Cisco AND h.disabled does not contain On
Object is:
ifType contains ethernetCsmacd AND ifOperStatus matches Up AND ( ( ifAlias contains SE- OR ifAlias contains SRE- ) OR ifHighSpeed is greater than or equal 10000 AND ifAlias does not contain Stackwise AND ifAlias is not empty )
For the rule 1 I have 2742 Objects
For the rule 2 I have 2551 objects
But both should give me the same result, or I'm missing something ?
The number of devices shown is the same for both 1132
Automation give not the same Object number, with same rule !

Re: Automation give not the same Object number, with same rule !
did you see any errors in the log from AUTOM8 maybe something happened when it tried applying the second rule?
also for your second rule where there is a variable click show matching devices or show matching objects and see if that number matches what you are expecting

No, no error on the log
And showing the matching object that is the all point, that's how i find out the different matching object number.

Still no one can explain to me how it's possible that the same Graph Creation Criteria give 2 different value
One based on snmp operational status, the other one based on In/Out Bits (64-bit Counters) plus/minus
