High Total only in one graph

Post by jslegers »

Hello,

I'm using Cacti to monitor my internet data. I found a strange thing in de Total in one of the graphs.

Week view

This is the two month view:

Three month view:

Looks like the 3 month view is not correct.
How can I fix this?

I'm using version 1.2.2 running on a Raspberry Pi.

Spikes like that are typically a result of a large (usually 64-bit) SNMP counter getting reset, often due to the restart of an agent. Depending on the last value of the counter, when the difference is calculated and divided by the polling interval the result is often very large.

The spikekill features of cacti (formally a plugin, now built-in I think?) can help to remove the spike.
