Centos 0 Interface Statistics ?

Post by voytek »

I have installed 1.2.9 on Centos 7, I'm collecting data for memory, load average, ping, processes, disk, all OK

BUT, under 'SNMP - Interface Statistics' I get "Success [0 Items, 0 Rows]"

what am I doing wrong ?

Make sure your snmp settings are correct. Many people enable snmp and never learn how to configure snmpd.conf. Unless I have NFS attached storage, mine usually only has one line "rocommunity public".

thanks !
tried using the basic snmpd.conf from docs, and, bingo:
SNMP - Interface Statistics Success [22 Items, 2 Rows]

hmm, obviously I don't understand it as well as I thought I did.... (what else is new..)

thanks again, drawing graph now, easy.
