Centos 8.1 Cacti 1.2.10 install stuck

Cacti install stuck at 41% and just keeps repeating the message below. Let it run overnight and same message. Tried to reinstall and still same message. Log directory does not give any additional information and all the prechecks were good. Not sure where to look next.

CentOS Linux release 8.1.1911 (Core)
Server version: 10.3.17-MariaDB MariaDB Server
PHP 7.2.11 (cli) (built: Oct 9 2018 15:09:36) ( NTS )
Server version: Apache/2.4.37 (centos)

Have just discovered the same issue with my new installation...
