Error on 40Gb interface

I'm using cacti 1.2.9 and the template Traffic (bits/sec) plus/minus, and the default In/Out Bits (64-bit Counters) plus/minus query who suppose to be a 64 bit counters.
But I get an 40Gb interface that was able to deliver 145Gbs, how come ?
