Broken SVG graphs in 1.2.6

After upgrading to 1.2.6, my SVG graphs no longer render. The output seems fine, except that at the end of every SVG there is an extra line after the closing tag.

eg.
</svg>
OK u:0.03 s:0.01 r:0.04

Has anyone else seen this? I can't figure out where the extra line is coming from; if I run the command to generate the svg output on the command line, the line is not there. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
