Email notification & threshold plugin doesn't work.

Dear everyone,

Please help me on this case.
At present, I already had Cacti 1.1.37 on Centos Server and I plan to install 02 plugin (Setting & Thold) to order to enable email notification & threshold for all my network equipment.

I saw some video instruction in youtube and some website (https://www.server-world.info/en/note?o ... =cacti&f=4), but it doesn't works. Please help to solve it.

1. When I install setting plugin, everything follow the same with the instruction, but I cannot see this setting plugin in Plugin management (don't guide me because I didn't activate it, because there is nothing to activate from my eye)

2. About the thold plugin, I also did the same step with guideline, but after installation, I go to plugin management to check it, the status is "not compatible, require:cacti >=1.2.3", this mean the latest version. Is there any way to use it without upgrade cacti version???

Highly appreciate if there is any Cacti expert, please help me..

1. The Settings plugin is not needed, as Cacti has already integrated it.
2. You are using the wrong branch from Github. Use the master branch, not the development branch.

Thank you for your reply. But without Plugin "Setting", I don't see the button "Send a Test Email" in Mail/DNS tab, How can we check it to make sure it's works.

As I said, the Settings plugin has been integrated into the Core, so it is not possible to install it. For the test email link, you need to update to 1.1.38
