Hi again, i'm back with a new problem, for more fun and pleasure ;)

I added a Cisco Router 2503 device to the list...the SNMP answer nicely, i can add interface and work on it...but it shows that the host is DOWN!

How can the host be down, if it answer to SNMP?...

Please give me some tricks to fix this!

what version IOS are you running on it & what version snmp are you polling with?

what version of IOS is the router running? & are you polling snmp v1 or v2 from within the Cacti settings?

what happens if you use v1 for the 2503? Also, is it a current version? I have a 2514 at home that needed a prom upgrade in order to get above a certain rev of 12. ... IOS., I forget what it is at the moment

Yes but i have others 2503 that work well...

Just some arent working fine...

c2500-d-l.112-12.bin <--- Its the IOS i use...it's suppose to be the latest that best fit our need in my network...

:S...
