I've searched a bunch and I haven't found anything and just wanted to double check on the forum...
I need to copy data into DB/data warehouse to keep poller exact data for 3+ years. Are there any existing methods for pushing data into RRD and into a (mySQL) DB? I've seen some references to modifying the poller to do both (RRD/MySQL), but no actual solutions. I've seen some comments on scripting the extraction from rrd files and piping into a DB. Just looking for something existing before going down any development paths.
Thanks-

Re: mysql data storage
You would need to write something currently or use splunk with the plugin that exports cacti data to it. But whatever you chose, it will add an overhead onto your cacti instance so you should try and keep this historic data on a separate server.
