alarming in cacti 1.1.37

I installed cacti 1.1.37 and i works very well.so now i want to make some test like if an equipement goes down, i get an email.so how to send a email in cacti 1.1.37 also how instal thold in cacti 1.1.37.

You can get thold for 1.1.37 from the github repo. To create a Threshold (alarm), it's best to create a Threshold template, then apply that to a device template, then sync the devices of the device template to ensure that everything is updated.

I have a problem on my cacti 1.1.37. i want to test if i can send email in cacti but there is no button " Send a test email". Find attached showing that.can u please get a support because i want to test if i can send a message from cacti.
