Report for Top ten Interfaces from all devices

Post by ghattasjacob »

Hello All...
I am new to cacti, looked for a report which will include the topX interfaces /CPUs of all graphs...
Is there a plugin or a template I can make for it?

I found the dsstats plugin, downloaded and untarred to a folder under plugins directory, went to the Plugin management and cannot find it...
I verified that the folder was owned by cacti:cacti... but yet it is not there on the plugins page....
any Ideas?

Where did you download DSStats from? Is there an INFO file in the folder?

I got the DSSTATS from https://docs.cacti.net/_media/plugin:dsstats-v1.4-1.tgz...
No info file, I needed to create a directory under the name "plugin:dsstats-v1.4-1" to get it shown in the plugin page, but it announced the same problem, "Missing info file"
I didn't find any know issue about it yet, but will look into it further this afternoon, will appreciate any hint :)

DSSTATS was actually merged into the Cacti Core with the version 1.0.0 release. So, I suspect you downloaded a pre-1.x plugin and that is why it's not showing up.

Also, when downloading and installing any plugin, it should match the "name" line of the INFO file. For example, most of cacti's GitHub downloads will include plugin_ at the beginning (eg, plugin_monitor) but the directory should only be called "monitor" (eg, <site>/plugins/monitor)
