Graph Filters not working

Post by chennasathish »

Hello Guys,

I have updated Cacti from 0.8.8a to 1.1.38. After upgrade, everything works fine except the below:

1. Whenever I switch to Graphs page and apply graph filters, the page goes blank. I need to refresh the page to get the graphs
2. The Graphs page gets refreshed continuously. How can I stop/configure this?

Any help in this context is appreciated. Thank you in advance for reply

The graphs page is refreshed automatically based on the settings so poke around in there and you should see a refresh/timeout. However, I think that also affects the auto-logout function too. If the page is going white, check the logs to see if there are any errors being generated in the cacti log or apache log.

Thank you for your reply.

Earlier, I had started httpd service with my cacti userid. That made graph filters not to work. Found this in Cacti.log. Now, I restarted httpd service with apache userid. Thank you for the suggestion.

The other issue that I have is, the graph page is getting continuously refreshed. I could see the below logs in cacti.log.

I could see the setting, Console => Configuration => Settings=> Visual => Real-time Graphs (screenshot attached) I tried lots of combinations and sometimes disabled this as well. Nothing worked. Could you please suggest if I'm missing anything here.

Thank you in advance for reply !!!
