New to 1.1.33h

Post by dsenior »

User of Cacti for 15 years, but always in the 0.XX versions. Built a new box 1.1.33h, and found no "Associated Graph Templates". Found where they are downloaded. When I go to import, I impoer the .gz file, but doesn't import. Try to do from cli:
sudo php /var/www/html/cacti-1.1.33/cli/import_package.php cisco_router.xml.gz

I get:
ERROR: Invalid Argument: (cisco_router.xml.gz)

What am I doing wrong? Any "howto" to making templates in 1.1.XX?

I don't think you're suppose to import the GZ, I've never done it that way.

Just give a go to XML files only and see what happens.

If you are talking about install/templates/Cisco_Router.xml.gz then this is a package designed to be imported using the cli in that manor.

Can you post the full output of what you are seeing when you run this? Please also check that you are specifying the full path to the .gz file.
