Hi
Changed my string from "public" to "ABCDRO" for example, and the device shows as down. It shows the device information at the top of the page, verbose scan of the interfaces fails.
I can run snmpwalk on the command line (Linux) and I get the snmp details back.
I've seen posts/threads about clearing my poller cache, and tried that (I think) but no change. Using standard poller (not spine)
Cacti 1.1.23
Log shows:
2017/11/03 16:40:03 - POLLER: Poller[1] Device[3] STATUS: Device '192.168.XXX.254' is Down.
2017/11/03 16:40:03 - PING Device[4] SNMP: Device responded to SNMP
2017/11/03 16:40:03 - CMDPHP WARNING: SNMP Error:'Timeout (500 ms)', Device:'192.168.XXX.254', OID:'.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0'
Any idea where to go next?
thanks!
James

When doing the walk are you definitely using the -c option?
What does the MySQL database say for your host? It should so as:
