FlowView

Post by rayinthemiddle »

Hi

I am in the process of installing Flowviewer in Cacti. I am trying to make out the installation docs.
Next you have to setup your Cacti server as a FlowView sink from your various
sources. Then, from FlowView -> Listeners, you must add the various listeners for all
your flow-capture sources.
I am trying to figure out where this is in version 1.1 .24. Can anyone assist?

After you enable it, make sure you give yourself access to the plugin under Configuration/Users/your_user, go to Permissions and click Flow Admin, Flow Viewer.

Then go to FlowView TAB and you should see 3 TABS there, Filters, Listeners and Schedules.

Where did you get that flowview version from ? github?

Right after you add permissions to the user, you need to refresh (F5) for the new tabs to show up.

Nothing on clog? apache errors?

Yes, got it from github and installed it. I have refreshed but still not seeing the menu appear.

There is any how to guides for CentOS on this? As I see quite a few for Debian based, but nothing for CentOS?
