Can Graph template title support LLDP query?

Post by manmandes »

Hi all,
I am trying to use cacti to monitor my network (mainly switches ), and since both switches and Linux servers enabled LLDP, I hope I could post " lldpRemSysName " information on the Graph , so I change the Graph template title:
"|query_ifName|-Traffic-|query_lldpRemSysName|"

but it seems unable to recognize the "lldpRemSysName":

on my Linux Server, I have already add the LLDP-MIB in /usr/share/snmp/mibs/LLDP-MIB.txt , and export;
snmpwalk on the switch seems just fine:

[network@bj0080 ~]$ snmpwalk -v2c -c XXXX 10.12.20.253 lldpRemSysName
LLDP-MIB::lldpRemSysName.985696825.47.1 = STRING: XXXX.Admin
LLDP-MIB::lldpRemSysName.985701674.27.1 = STRING: XXXX.Admin
LLDP-MIB::lldpRemSysName.985706550.28.1 = STRING: XXXX.Admin
LLDP-MIB::lldpRemSysName.985707010.29.1 = STRING: XXXX.Admin
LLDP-MIB::lldpRemSysName.985707472.30.1 = STRING: XXXX.Admin

So, what I missed? Does anyone meet this requirement before??

Run a verbose query. Are the values shown?
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.
