A coworker put together some nice cacti weathermaps, but he was maintaining them at 640x480, and we want to keep them up on a large, 2k display. I figured there had to be a solution out there to generate different sized images without manually moving things around, and without the loss of resolution from zooming the image. I figure I'm still missing something, and would be happy to hear about it
But anyway, I hacked together this awk script the other day which takes a width, height, background image path, and new title, and tries to scale all of the absolute, pixel-based values in a .conf. Hopefully useful to someone.
