User managment: duplicated admin

Post by gregszuh »

Hi.

Just signed up but I've used Cacti for some years, still appologies for stupid questions!

My issue is the following:
I managed to clone the admin account somehow, the result being I cannot login as admin and I cannot add/remove/alter anything.
Loging in with admin/correct password results in "access denied"
Ive tried to manipulate an other set of users rights to enable "administration", via sql, but have failed eventhough I managed to add some priv.
The thing is that I do seem to have a duplicate in user-db (sql) for "Admin".

So how can I wipe the user-db and start from scratch?

All help is good help at this point!!

Cheers.

You can drop all the tables that start with user and re-import them from cacti.sql file.
