Cacti 1.1.10

Post by filiph1 »

I was previously using version 0.8.8.something. There were many different default templates. I use these templates to monitor interfaces on cisco switches and routers.

Today I installed the new version 1.1.10. There are no templates what so ever.
I'm not able to create any graphs. Is this normal? Did you remove all the templates or did I make some kind of mistake during installation procedure.

You have to load these templates during the installation process (the web pages).

You can load them manually as well:

Code: Select all

echo "Loading default cacti templates (may take some time)."
<path_to_cacti>/cli/import_package.php --filename=<path_to_cacti>/install/templates/Local_Linux_Machine.xml.gz
<path_to_cacti>/cli/import_package.php --filename=<path_to_cacti>/install/templates/Generic_SNMP_Device.xml.gz
<path_to_cacti>/cli/import_package.php --filename=<path_to_cacti>/install/templates/NetSNMP_Device.xml.gz
<path_to_cacti>/cli/import_package.php --filename=<path_to_cacti>/install/templates/Cisco_Router.xml.gz
echo "done."
