Hello,
I've upgraded cacti from 1.1.7 to 1.1.9 and I have problem with missing colors in graph tamplate color selection field.
In Presets/Color Cacti is showing 340 colors, but in dropdown menu in a graph template there is only fourteen of them.
I checked color table in a database and there are also 340 colors,
Please help.
Regards,

Re: Missing entries in color selection in graphs and templat
Hi,
I think it is a firefox issue (currently I'am using 53). When I input some data only the colors matching appears, but I cannot list more than 14.
Does any one is using other browser?

Re: Missing entries in color selection in graphs and templat
Same behavior for me using Chrome. So not specific to Firefox.
Re: Missing entries in color selection in graphs and templat
Thats because its a search box, not a full drop down list, and will only show the first 14 results. Start typing in that box (for example "Red")
Re: Missing entries in color selection in graphs and templat
Hi all,
i'm running into the same problem here with a 1.1.35 installation i started in January.
Yes, i already found out before reading this post, that it is a select box, and that you can use SAYT.
But unfortunately the annoying part of it is:
I enter "red" for example, and i get more than 14 entries with "red" in the name, but only the first 14 are displayed.
So i will rarely have a real chance to select from a proper full set of search, if i don't know the correct color name in advance.
This gets even more inconvenient with all the unnamed entries.
Therefore i would rather consider it a bug - others will probably agree to this decision.
Would it be somehow easily possible to rise the number of list items?
Maybe as a configurable parameter? That would be really helpful as a start.
I have already grep'ed across the code a bit, but did not find any suitable point where i can change the item count.
Another even better solution could be a multi-column list-box with more entries or to open a popup window where all colors are shown.
Any chance to get that fixed in one of the suggested ways?

Re: Missing entries in color selection in graphs and templat
I would suggest raising this as an issue on GitHub so that it can be addressed. Personally, I think colour selection should probably take a better format such as the colour wheels you can see in other applications, though I wouldn't want the job of creating it from scratch.
