Data-Template ruined

Post by Guest »

Hi all,

first of all I would mention, that I´ve no very deep experience with cacti and its environment. But after reading several docs again and again, I was able to run cacti nearly successfully (running MRTG before). But due to well-known error with the ID 54 and ID 55 of the data template (Interface-Traffic), I did a badly mistake and I deleted the ID 55 by error. So I haven´t the "traffic_out" item anymore. Do I have a chance to restore this template and when yes, how?

My second issue asking for help is, that the timespan view doesn´t work. If I select e.g. "Last Day", I got an "The page cannot be found" message.

Any hints are welcome.

Regards

Please apply the patches in http://www.cacti.net/downloads/patches/ ... re-patched

You may be able to renumber the ID of an existing "traffic_out" DS. But, you will required database editing software such as MySQL Query Browser.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
