Hi all,
I´ve the following problem:
I had some threshold enabled hosts within a "breached" or "triggered" state. The threshold template had a re-alert cycle for every day.
Unfortunaly someone has deleted this hosts while they are still in the "failed state". Now I got every day a ghost (re-alert) message from
this deleted hosts and can´t find them in the threshold configuration or "maybe relevant" database tables.
How can I get rid of these daily messages?
Thanks and bye
Marco

No ideas / recommendations ?
Re: Where stores Thold the host status
Did you try the monitor plugin database ?
thold and monitor are very tight together
plugin_monitor_<something>

Re: Where stores thold the host status
Hi rno,
thanks for the answer. Thold works very well for me and we use a lot of templates.
The Problem is that there are now daily (!!!) messages from "ghost hosts" like this:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
A warning has been issued that requires your attention.
Host: xyz (192.168.1.111)
URL: http://cacti.intern/cacti//graph.php?lo ... 4&rra_id=1
Message: WARNING: Cluster Status [CLUSTERSTATE] [AVAILABLE] is still above threshold of 0 with 1
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Following the link "GRAPH DOES NOT EXIST" appears, because the host xyz (and his data) has been
unfortunaly deleted while the threshold was still triggered.
Now I want to figure out, where thold has stored this state and how I can delete this entries to get rid of the daily messages.
Thanks
Marco

Re: Where stores Thold the host status
I understand that, but I tell you to check on the database of plugin_monitor- table!
But I thinnk You should find your host on this table: thold_data
And if the host dosen't exist anymore just delete it

Re: Where stores Thold the host status
Hi rno,
thanks again.
I´ve already searched there for the specific entries.
I can´t find the host or related graph_id of the generated message in this database table.
Thanks and bye
