[Question] Is there a guide for creating device templates?

Post by js888k »

Hello...

Is there a guide for creating device templates from within Cacti using SNMP queries?

Basically I am looking for any guides that outline how to create a device template with associated graph templates and other dependencies that can then be exported for public use.

The long story is that I found a Juniper SRX device template here: http://forums.juniper.net/t5/SRX-Servic ... td-p/41473

All seems to work OK except for the Interface Traffic graphs. These graphs always show 0's for Input/Output and does not show any color on the graphs. I know these interfaces have traffic and need to troubleshoot the template by creating one from scratch to make sure its not something within the Juniper itself or if the template is flawed.

Thanks,
J :P
