Dear All,
I need to know how can I change root password but without accessing CLI, also can I make active/backup setup on CACTI, I mean 2 VMs,,, if so please update me with the configuration steps.

The normal cacti account will permit you to make a dump. However, if you don't have the root password, I would take an outage, dump the database, reinstall mysql where you know the password, and reimport the database. If you are good, you can between polling cycles.
