"Header" tree item for structured overviews

Post by choefing »

Hi gents,

in order to have the possibility to split single graphs by some kind of a topic in an operations overview showing like 10 different types of graphs w/o mix them when change from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 .. columns, I'd like to request a "header" tree item one can put in place like the old tree header items we had in 0.8x versions.
For me personally there is no need to collapes/expand them, just have to posibility to enter a "Name" which is shown in the overview which in turn has a line break before and after.

The actual "root branch" could be such a thing but unfortunately Cacti does not show graphs for ANY sub-item, only the ones in the selected main- or sub-tree.

As said previously, this setup only shows the graphs in EITHER selection, subtrees/items are not shown.

While this kind of setup worked properly for us in 0.8 versions.

I already asked if it's possible here http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=57380 but it seems no answer means just "not possible" right away.

If you need more input on thar request, please let me know.
