I actually made a two day effort to read up, do it on virtual machine first before doing it live.
Update it self went super great but once everything was back in thold went haywire!
See the following screenshot how thold is reporting breach even when the graph is showing normal.
Settings: 10 minutes in to over 60 trigger a mail. CDEF divide by 10000000. This is unchanged and it worked before the upgrade.
Spine compiled nicely, once I gave it the two missing deps!
Configuration files trough with no problem!
All the RRD files, custom scripts, etc copied over with care!
Gited thold plugin from master branch in to thold/ under cacti plugins (new version)!
Cacti upgrade went trough flawlessly!
Ran the thold DB upgrade, no errors!
Once poller was re-enabled and cache cleared it started drawing graphs once more and the only downtime is actually visible just prior to noon on the image above!
All the thold info was still in there as were the logs!
Impressed overall...
But for some reason, we are getting this breach for multiple hosts. It worked before the upgrade and we didn't change a thing.
Anyone has any ideas?
