0.8.8b upgrade

Post by pdudas »

Dear All!

I have a 0.8.8.b installation (cactiez 0.7 was updated to 0.8.8b and Centos 6.8 ) with Spine and Boost and Mactrack (and a lot of other plugins) with 1 minute polling frequency and data retention up to 3 years, monitoring approximately 100 devices.

Is there an easy way to update it to 0.8.8h or even 1.0?
As it is virtualised I can easily try the upgrade - just don't want to loose the past data in the RRA's.

Is there an easy way to move this installation to a new server without loosing the past?
New server would be Centos 7 with 0.8.8h and Spine 0.8.8h too. This is already installed - working fine by now.
I just want to avoid recreating all the necessady config steps (devices, graphs, tresholds, alarms, etc..)

Thank you!
