issues with plug instalation

Hello


I am able to install and enable module, but i dont see weathermap tab near "CONSOLE" and "GRAPHS" tab.

Do you know what happen ?

Also why my cacti is referring to the .conf files that doesn't exist ?

Does the user you are logged in as have permission to manage or view weathermaps? (in the Cacti user admin?)

Do the config files actually exist in the configs/ directory? (check with ls)

Are those the names of map config files that you have added?

I'm confused what you did before this - was it working, and stopped working? Or never worked? (how did you add those maps if it never worked?) If it stopped working, what changed then? Cacti upgrade? PHP upgrade? OS upgrade? Weathermap upgrade? Disk full?

Hi,

I figured I would hop on this thread because I have the same issue and I didn't see an answer. I have upgraded weather map from .97a to .98 and I am getting the following failures. I have changed nothing else but weathermap. After trying many times to untar .98 over the old directory without success I removed its contents and then un tared. After a few more failures of the plugin not being recognized it finally worked. I have permissions wide open but am still getting these errors ".conf is not readable or doesn't exist [WMPOLL04]". I did not recreate the map I just copied the conf file that was created under .97a. Is this a problem , Any Ideas?

After looking a bit closer at the names of conf files, I had moved over one that was named similar but not the map I was testing with. So all good now.

FYI - Installing .98 over .97 does not work. Clear out the weathermap directory, then un tar. I still had to do this several times until the plugin was fully recognized, even though command line weathermap worked fine.

If you are using angled text in your maps , dont forget to put back your font file back otherwise it complains about it.
