Dear all,
I reach a problem that related to RRDtool in Apache windows server 2012, just wanna see is there anyone can help on this issue.
As my customer requirement, they want to keep the data on some of the interface in 5mins average hourly, daily, weekly and yearly, like below. But the words in some of the graphs doesn't show correctly, even though the graph hourly and the problem is comes randomly:
I tried to upgrade RRDtool from 1.2.15 to 1.4.5 and Active Perl v5.16.3 still having this problem.
Then I checked the error log in Apache, I see log of error on below:
…

0 [main] rrdtool 14588 tty_list::allocate: No tty allocated
1 [main] rrdtool 22104 tty_list::allocate: No tty allocated

After investigation, I found that when the graphs show no words inside, below error will be created:
ERROR: failed to load /usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.15/share/rrdtool/fonts/DejaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf
So I tried to change to a incorrect file name (no-Roman.ttf) in cacti, then all the log shown:
ERROR: failed to load c:/cygwin64/usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.15/share/rrdtool/fonts/no-Roman.ttf
but
Still have some log shown:
ERROR: failed to load /usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.15/share/rrdtool/fonts/DejaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf
All the graphs take around 30 second to complete the loading in IE, Chrome and Firefox, but i have changed all the related timeout value in Apache and php to more then 600ms, no idea why the issue still exist.
On the other side, we have other cacti using IIS and monitoring the same thing, every things work fine only the yearly graph takes 4mins to load it... that why we planned to use Apache.
May i get someone help on this case? Thank you very much!
