Data Source: Maximum value - non integer value possible ?

Hello,
I'm graphing a pellet feeder on automatic boiler. The sensor detects rotation where one whole round takes about 90 seconds. So the Maximum value of the counter32 is 1/90. I have tried to set it as 0.003, but seems like the data source has been ignored. (I have deleted the rdd file on every change in the Data Source). Is it possible for Maximum value to be a float ?
