Hello everybody i start to used this software 2 days ago on a 32 bits windows seven version with one core only and 2 GB Ram well, first i updated to service pack 1 to fix an error on appache service, when i do that i star to install cacti, i started mysql service and appache on xampp, and modify the password, and some documents on xampp. but when i try to enter to cacti i found this error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'new' (T_NEW) in C:\xampp\htdocs\cacti\lib\adodb\adodb.inc.php on line 866
and have no idea what whats wrong someone have a similar problem? please help

Cacti 0.8.8 doesn't work with PHP 7 (that is slated for the 1.0 release). You can either downgrade PHP to 5.X or find one of the posts on this forum that shows the the manual modifications you will have to do to the source code to get Cacti working with PHP 7.
