Aggregate Plugin issues - no items listed

Post by charlesw »

Hello!

I've been a long-time user of Cacti - it's an outstanding tool!

We recently upgraded our installation of Cacti to 0.8.8f on Ubuntu 16.04.1. Everything else works great, but the Aggregate plugin seems to have stopped working...

When I select some graphs and attempt to create an aggregate, I get the familiar "Create Aggregate Graph" screen, but there are no Graph Items populated. The page appears to load normally up to the Graph Template Items section.

The column headers load and I see "Item # 1". Other than that, there is no further data, no buttons, etc. See screenshot:

System Info:
Cacti 0.8.8f
PHP 7.0.8-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
Apache Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.12, for Linux (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated! We're looking to create composite graphs with many datasources, so having this plugin working is key...

Figured it out... It was due to ereg being deprecated and removed in my version of PHP. Replaced ereg with preg_match in aggregate_functions.php and added the appropriate delimiters and all is good!
