Problem with SNMP OID

Post by idanl »

Hi,

I'm using cacti-0.8.6b on Windows 2003 server.
I would like to use SNMP - Generic OID Template in order to monitor our networking equipment using SNMP OID.
I create a new graph base on this template but I have several problems:
1. Under Data Source [snmp_oid], I see each data source twice
2. In the graph while I change to the debug mode I can see an error message:
ERROR: opening 'C:\mycacti\website\cacti/rra/msn_pix_snmp_oid_50.rrd': No such file or directory
3. While I run the php-win.exe c:\...\pooler.php I got an error message "Duplicate DS name: snmp_oid and the error message in 2

I don’t get any graph using SNMPT OID,

Any help will be appreciate :D

You have made what is now a classic mistake and added a Graph Template for something not intended to be added to Graph Templates. This will be corrected in 0.8.6c. Until then, you need to edit the Data Template for Interface Traffic and delete the second of each Data Source. When you hover over the Data Source tabs and look at the status bar, you will see ID's. You need to KEEP 54 and 55. Delete the other two. Then, you need to delete the graph for this host and it's associated data sources.

At that point, you will add graph information from the Data Queries section of "Create Graphs".

Good Luck,

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
