Ghost Data Sources

First post on site, please go easy.

Running 0.8.8 - 400 hosts, 80k Data Sources on one min polling.

Recently I ran the RRDcleaner and found 20k+ non-utilized Data Sources. Went through and remove them 500 at a time and went back to Data Source page and confirmed the count has gone down to 80k. Ran Rescan in RRDcleaner and confirmed they did not reappear. However when looking at polling process via BOOST, it is still polling 100k+ Items. Polling CACHE also shows the same 100k+ count. I tried rebuilding CACHE and also a hard reboot of the server but nothing has worked. My understanding is that the number of DS should = Polling Items.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
