I'm using realtime plugin and I'm having one particular issue.
The new values are refreshing every 15 seconds (see attachment). I'm using pmacct (www.pmacct.net) as a traffic collector device.
I'm only having problem with pmacct graphs, remaining realtime graphs are updated every second.
Kindly let me know what information is needed from my side in order to troubleshoot this problem.

Re: Realtime Graphs - refresh interval
Maybe the snmp value isnt updated on the device more often?
Do a manual poll every second and see if it changes.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I'm running on a linux machine and the traffic is captured via libpcap daemon.micke2k wrote:Maybe the snmp value isnt updated on the device more often?

The snmp configuration is running on default settings on the linux machine.
The behavior is same with NetFlow and sFlow graphs as well. (running via pmacct)
I'm not sure if pmacct is sending delayed information or cacti is polling every 15 seconds.

So you are not snmp polling them? How do you get the info then? Script?ipengr wrote:Thanks for the reply. Actually, I'm running on a linux machine and the traffic is captured via libpcap daemon.micke2k wrote:Maybe the snmp value isnt updated on the device more often?

Re: Realtime Graphs - refresh interval
Sorry for the delayed response. pmacct creates a pipe file and I'm just mentioning that file location in cacti.micke2k wrote:So you are not snmp polling them? How do you get the info then? Don't know where's the lagging coming from, cacti or pmacct!
