data_template_rrd and Hash

Post by le roumain »

Hello,

I've a problem with my data templates. They have disappears !

If i look in 'data_template_rrd' table, the 'hash' value is null for all entries, expect for new data template i've created for test.

Is it normal ?

I use 0.8.6b version.

Thanks

There was a problem in prior versions of Cacti that allowed users to delete their templates. The bug has been corrected. However, you will have to restore your database from a backup to restore your templates.

I suggest that you restore to a separate database and bring up a separate instance of Cacti using that database backup and then export your templates and re-import then into your production database.

This should correct some, but not all of the problems. This was an unfortunate bug, but it made it to production somehow.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
