Hi all,
Is is possible, instead of manually adding OVERLIBGRAPH to every node/link that interests us, to automatically read the TARGET rrd file and generate some kind of alternative to OVERLIBGRAPH?
Best regards,
R.

Re: OVERLIBGRAPH alternative
There's no direct correlation between the rrd file and the graph URL, in Cacti, at least.
However, you might want to look at the cacti-integrate.php script in the random-bits directory of weathermap. That allows you to add some SET variables to nodes and links, and then it goes through the database and fills in the details for you.
You only need to provide the minimum information - e.g. just a hostname or ip for a node, and an interface name for one end of a link, as long as it's the end that the node has some information.
It will then fill in either dsstats: or regular rrdtool filename TARGETs, INFOURLs and OVERLIBGRAPHs.
Outside of that - there's nothing to stop you writing a CGI/PHP script that takes an rrd filename and produces some sort of default graph drraw.cgi (on the rrdtool web page) might help you here.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
