Cacti rrd files not updating

Hi all,

I've picked up a broken cacti install one of my colleagues left me.
We previously had hundreds of graphs monitoring network traffic, but these have stopped updating.
I've followed all of the troubleshooting guides, but it seems like the poller is only updating the CPU-related RRD files. Cacti seems to be getting all the interface data successfully via snmp still. (e.g. http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:4_help.2_debugging)
I have also tried upgrading. (This just made a bunch of plugins disappear from the nav bar)
Creating new graphs seems to work fine.

Any help would be amazing!

Start by checking the logs and looking for errors.
