Any one their trapping the Active Directory Services, SQL Server, IIS messeges?
Can someone tell me how to congure cacti
I have these OID
1.2.840.113556.1 --Microsoft Active Directory
also have sql server oid (and also MIB, but dont know how to use)
I am not receiving any traps.
Do I have to say anything to AD/SQL Server/what ever... , explicitly on server to start sending messenges???

Cacti doesn't support SNMP traps, it is a SNMP polling system.
Traps are snmp messages sent from the host to the SNMP trap receiver.
Traps are also more informational messages, not information that you would graph. Check out Nagios and/or SNMPTT for processing traps.

Unless you have some specific reason to do so, the easiest way to monitor these things is via the WMI depending on what Win32 OSs you're querying values from.
There are quite a few perl scripts and necessary templates in here, but if you want, search for WMI, W32, etc.
