"VIASTYLE angled" and add two "VIA x y" lines.
(you have to make sure that the x and y make 90 degree angles though - e.g. first x matches node a, second x matches node b, and both y are the same and somewhere between a and b, or the same kind of thing with matching y and x in between)

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
